Babies talk in several ways. There are communication behaviors that can be read as talk. For example, a baby will cry, or turn the head, or reach with its limbs. These are not words, and yet they do let us know what the baby wants. As baby gets older, of course we notice baby will start to smile, or frown or if ignored, baby will have a glazed over look that does not react. It is as if baby dissociates as if in a survival mode. That behavior can be a sign that the baby does not trust anyone and is trusting only self.
As babies get older, they learn to shake their heads or pull away from what they do not want. And yes, they continue to use crying as a way to show frustration. Babies watch those who interact with them. Gradually, they start to make sounds that start to mimic what they hear. They will say single words, before going to sentences. Sometimes the sounds are easy to understand and other times, not.
As a baby gets more mobile, baby can go toward an object or activity when it wants to. It can go towards an area when it wants something. It goes a different way if it is teasing or starting to show disagreement or disappointment. This is part of baby talk.
Babies develop a vocabulary according to the interaction it receives, and the words baby hears. If a family talks with baby, baby will learn far more words than a baby that lies in a position, not interacting with others. Watching TV, stimulates a brain center that can cause numbing of a section of the brain. The baby can get into a trance as if getting an overdose. Sometimes, when a parent wants to change such a behavior, the child gets very upset. It may learn words from TV shows, but without interaction, there is a far different effect on the child, an effect as if baby heard no words. Words coming from TV are not controllable by the parents. Therefore, baby may be exposed to words that are inappropriate to use in public. Everything a person learns, gets filed in the brain somehow. Even having baby watch a show that shows stress, or danger or death, can cause baby to react and then hold such visuals or sounds in their muscles somewhere in the body. This stress may be a trigger for health or lack of health in later years.
What about baby in utero. Does this baby talk to mommy? How? Can mother understand baby in utero? Some mothers say “yes.” They say they have a 6th sense, knowing if baby is ok or not. The unconscious brain waves can read if baby is needing something, and feeling stress. If mother realizes such information, mother can consciously talk to baby, either using words aloud or even subconsciously, mother can communicate to baby and let baby know her thoughts and experiences. She can calm baby by reassuring baby that mother’s stresses and traumas are not baby’s. Baby can then release its experience of mothers’ emotions. Mother will care for baby, and baby can relax and do its job, of growing healthy and well. It must know that mother’s emotional experiences do not have to be held by baby.
The world has learned to do studies to reassure people about their babies. The interesting thing is, all people can have an intuitive sense as to the baby’s world, by tuning into baby’s brain waves. The intuition is wise and able to interpret information for the mother, if mother trusts that she has such a skill and she develops that ability. Women and men from ages past, were able to communicate is such special ways. We can too then. Mommies, figure out the tools that will help you communicate with your baby prenatally. This is such a special time for mothers who do trust their babies and their own intuitive and inner wisdom.
Can babies sense other babies in utero? In the Bible there is one example that seems to say, “yes, babies can communicate with other babies while in utero. This example is of Elizabeth’s John the Baptist, kicking when Jesus was present in utero of Mary, when Mary went to help Elizabeth after finding out she was with child.
We can also realize that babies hear sound when they have the experience of ultra sound. They tend to move away from the sound. They try to hide from the echo that they hear. Also, they may feel vibrations or waves that happen when the ultrasound machine is on mom’s belly.
These are my reflections on baby talk. Do your own study of babies that you are around. Notice how they interact, react, speak, or communicate. If you have autistic children, can you hear what they might be thinking in their heads. That would be really cool if we could learn how to communicate with those we tend to think can’t communicate. I mean in a subconscious way. Already people who are unable to talk, are able to communicate using technology. That is not what I mean. I wonder if we are the ones that just need to learn how to communicate and hear the vibrations of the world better or in a different way. If we could better talk with each other in both physical and subconscious ways, we could sure have more people feel more a part of society. We who have all our limbs and capacities (per our current understanding of a healthy human), would be able to involve those who communicate in different ways because we would be in tune with their mind vibrations. Let us hope for this age to come sooner than later. That way, no baby would be found lacking, and their gifts could be shared on this earth. No baby would then be aborted for what we call an anomaly.
